There are heated debates over "pulling the air across the sensor" or "pushing air over the sensor".

I prefer ambient debates.   Neutral

and I am sure others will have opinions as well about it.

Greg and Sam,
The 'Lars FARS 2009" would not fit your stations anyway.   It is designed to only work with Metric stations...

could be.... just get Obama to add going metric to the spendulus package..... all those conversions and printing, etc.... would cost billions, create tons of jobs, and make doing business with the other 99.9% of the world easier, from a weights and measures point of view.... and you could go 100 on the interstate and not get a ticket....

They tried that back in the 70's or 80's (I guess it was Carter's administration).  It flew like a lead balloon.  They keep trying to make soccer popular, I guess they'll keep trying the metric system, too.  Of course, neither will fly here.

agreed on soccer....

I did not say it would work.  but for the economy, probably more stimulating that a lot of stuff they are trying.  But it would kill the approval rating...

gotta start with the kids.... tons of kids playing soccer now... teach them metric and some day they will know everything but their height, weight and pool temp in metric, like me....

The US has been officially metric for more than a century.  To get people to actually use it would be simple;  change the speed limit signs, and sell all products with metric only labels.  The container of milk would stay the same but sold as  3.79 litres.  It would not take long for most people to start thinking in metric.  Many citizens own 9mm guns, I have never heard them referred to as a .3543in weapon.

When is the last time you heard of a car engine size in cubic inches?  Luckily, Google will convert so that I can comprehend the size.

Here is some information about how my radiation shield has worked during the summer.

I have compared my temperature with a nearby non-private weather station and the values are almost identical, there may be differences of +-0.2 C.

And my radiation shield has sun on it from sunrise to about 16:00 o'clock so the fan is working.  Dancing

That is not bad for a home construction.

It feels so great when something homemade works good or even better than expected.
Glad that your shield work so good Applause.
I have built myself a solarsensor-in-a-jar and it works really good, even the neighbor was impressed.
The reason I built this was to monitor how many sunhours my sun panel for the pool, will have this summer.
