Drought Monitor page

I forget who is maintaining that page.  GWWILK?  Thought you may want to update the code.

Anyway, one of the images for :US Drought information: Monitor" is dead.

I replaced it with this file:

Yup, that's me.  I've noticed the missing graphic recently but didn't really think it was gone since this has happened briefly before.  Apparently it's gone for good now.  I think you've found a good compromise, but it's nowhere near what the old graphic was.  That map was the same size as the rest of the maps on the links to the right of this one.

Accordingly I've updated the script and uploaded the revision to my scripts page.  I believe this has happened because the CPC and the UNL Drought Monitor have totally revised their main pages abandoning their old looks and links.  Here is the current comparable map, but it incorporates a date in the url.  I'll need to work on this a bit and test it before I can put it up as reliable.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Preliminary revision, with debugging info present, is up on my test site.  It needs to run through at least the next weekly cycle before I have any confidence in it at all.  The map and it's location use a Tuesday's date, but it isn't available until late evening on Wednesdays.  I think the script's $YearMoDay will roll over to the current map on Thursdays, but we'll see.

The UNL Drought Monitor has restored the US Map, https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/data/png/current/current_usdm.png, so after updating all of the links to SSL there's an updated version of the Drought Monitor Page on my site, and an updated zip is available there as well.  It turns out that there should be no need for the inclusion of the year, month and day, 'yyymmdd', in the target url.

It appears that we caught them in transition.  Again, though, time will tell.
