I agree with you Mapantz, having the max figures reset at midnight would be a much more logical way of representing the data than the current rolling 24hour window.
I'll drop Lucy a e-mail and see what she thinks of the suggestion.

I think the issue with the max gust data etc is how the console and Gw-1000 decide to sample the datasets. The reality is that they don't seem to take and compare all data values for these measurements even if they are displayed.

I already talked to Lucy via Twitter on the issue of maximums and minimums being the last 24 hours and not the day (starting midnight). At first she did not seem very receptive to this question. Now, with more people making this request, maybe we'll have more attention. Another point, my maxims almost never match between tabs and graphs. Lucy told me, and I do agree, the tabs update every minute and the graphs every 5 minutes, but in the WU works the same way and the maxims, both the chart and the tabs are the same and match my console. Another suggestion would be to have a frame, where when you select a period (1 month for example) in this frame would show the maximum and minimum understood in this period.

Sorry about my english, Im from Brasil.

Just to update, Lucy has taken onboard the comments and the engineering team will consider giving us a settings option to switch between a midnight reset and the rolling 24 hours.
It might not come to pass but at least they are considering it.

They add a button on the graphs to show daily stats, very nice. However the tabs are still showing the maxs and mins from the last 24h.

yes, I noticed that as well.
I have already asked if there any plans to roll out the option to the live data section.
I will let you all know if I get an answer of course!

If anyone wants to know what your own ecowitt's site would look like with their sensors mine looks like this. https://www.ecowitt.net/home/index?type=1&name=NicomaPark1
I also am using ecowitts sensors at my Meteotemplate site using there GW1000b bridge and a Meteobridge at www.nicomaparkwx.com if you care to see.

While running 1.4.7 I've observed the following behavior which basically amounts to uploading not every 1 minutes but more like every 2 minutes.
Ecowitt.net supposedly updates every 1 minutes. That is up to your console (GW1000) to actually send data every 1 minutes...but in practice it doesn't really happen exactly like that.
What actually happens is that the GW1000 uploads to Ecowitt.net at the top of the minute (:00 seconds). It takes a few seconds for this to register and become available to see on Ecowitt.net. That takes about 9 to 13 seconds it seems. Then the GW1000 starts counting 60 seconds. At the end of those 60 seconds it is now because of the original upload delay a bit after the :00 mark of the next minute. So it might be like :09 seconds after the next minute for example. The GW1000 then at this time trips an okay to upload trigger. But the GW1000 only uploads at exactly the :00 seconds on the clock time and it is now :09 so it waits for the next :00 second mark. Then at the next :00 mark it uploads again. But because it takes a few seconds to upload and refresh the website you'll actually end up seeing 2 minutes since last upload on Ecowitt.net for a few seconds. In summary because of how the GW1000 software is programmed it really only updates every 2 minutes.

I get the same update times with ver 1.4.8 I didn't see a difference from 1.4.7  Once in awhile it will be 2-3 min but only sometimes.

Andyk1,
Nice work with Meteobridge and your website.

Your shared Ecowitt.net link is not working. Correct link should be this:

Strangely when I tried the link I posted it works fine. when I tried your (index?type=2) it came up in Chinese which I could not change to English.

Looking into it further it does in fact not work using windows internet explorer but works fine in Firefox and Chrome. Looks like I.E. is not supporting a lot of sites but Microsoft edge does work which I do not use.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm using Chrome. When I find my station on the map it also shows the link as type=1. I don't think that the type is the language though. You can still pull up type=2 and change the language from the menu back to English. I think maybe type indicates yours or someone else's. Not really sure.

https://www.ecowitt.net/home/index?type=2&name=GW1000%20-%20KFLWINTE111%20FW3708%20-%20Winter%20Springs,%20FL

If I use your type=1 link it just shows me my station...even though the rest of the URL says that name=NicomaPark1.

Ecowitt.net requires a that you register for a free account. You don't need to own anything to get your free account. It works much like Davis' Weatherlink.com.

Good day Gents,

I'm new here but I read WXForum for more than 10 years now. This thread about Ecowitt is very interesting. I'm about to buy their WH2910C station (my old La Crosse died few month ago) but I would like to know the size of the display before. I know that their 2320 display is fairly small. Can you guys help me?

thanks you!

I much prefer the WS-2000 (HP2551) though.

Thanks a lot galfert for this usefull information...  Reading your comparison thread, it seems that I cannot add an outdoor Temp/RH sensor on the 2910, is that right? I have no option to add one because where i'll install the station, Wind, PCPN will be well exposed but Temp will be bias for sure (too high no grass).

Forgot to mention, if you add an extra sensor (Temp/RH) on another channel is it possible to display it as reference Temp? (i.e. can the channel of outdoor temp can be changed?)
