Acurite is ending service and support for SmartHUB effective February 28, 2019 and basically rendering these devices useless bricks.

I am calling on Acurite to do the right thing and release the firmware to the public domain so we aren't left with a useless brick that we paid good money for.

I setup my Access a few weeks ago and have been dealing with constant loss of signal problems. Meanwhile, my Smart HUB has been performing flawlessly. I am dreading the day when the Smart HUB is no longer supported.

I refused to buy a new unit and just replaced my station with an Ambient Weather WS-2000.  So far it works great and I no longer will support Acu-rite.  The way they have handled this entire process has been crappy imo.
