Try getting a state grant for it  from your fire marshal or state  training office. they always have grant money for items  like that

As a prior Chairman, director and EMS member of the Rio Blanco Fire Protection District I'd b happy to help.  I have my retired Davis VP1 Wireless that worked very well when I took it out of service last year.  The barometer seemed to be a bit low at times, but otherwise it was in good shape.

Give me your mailing address for the station and I'll take it down from the pole and get it on the way to you.  You can see it (still mounted but not sending data) on my PTZ cam, just click to 'Start Control' and then select the preset for Weather Sensor.

I finally got i down from its perch on my old mounting pole, it is sitting on my desk waiting to be packaged up for shipping.  Send me a PM or email with your UPS shipping address.
