Twitter to FB posts
« on: August 26, 2018, 05:26:51 PM »
Seems that when you post to twitter now, it will not show up on Facebook anymore due to a FB change. Is there another way to post our data straight to FB?

Thanks

I have looked and have not seen one yet.

Tried to post a widget on FB, but it did not take. If there is no solution for me, I will kill the FB page.

After the big "data breach" Facebook made some changes.

Not sure if there is a workaround.

I use https://ifttt.com/ and it watched my twitter acount when their is a post on it then it posts it to my facebook page.

(You would have to give the website ifttt rights for posting on your facebook page.)

Ifttt is working. It's a little messy with what it puts on Facebook but it works.

You'd have to search for a Twitter applet that posts New Tweet/Pic from Twitter goes to your Facebook Page.
I'm not sure how to link to one of the applets that I use.

Block them both in your router, hosts file and other security tools and you won't have to worry about them.

Banners, tags, widgets, etc. are why I have Signatures turned off.

Our tweet about the Facebook cross-post purge made it into a TechCrunch article. https://techcrunch.com/2018/08/28/facebook-has-removed-all-cross-posted-tweets/ We have since switched over to https://ifttt.com for the cross-posting function and it has been working as a replacement.
