VWS compatible stations and comms
« on: December 13, 2017, 07:24:27 PM »
Why is VWS sold on the Ambient website but Ambient Wx Stations are not included in the list of compatible Wx Stations?

Also, I have an Ambient WS-1001; could VWS communicate with either the station or the display wirelessly? Cable connections aren't an option.

While there has been no official announcement, it appears VWS development has ended.  So I'm guessing they haven't made changes to support the newer weather stations.

Also, Cumulus development has basically ended for now due to retirement.  He has suggested he made turn the code open, but that hasn't happened officially either.

Weather Display and the Meteobridge/hub are the bigger options out there currently.
