« on: July 20, 2016, 05:36:05 PM »
Just got this email from BloomSky.

The backer counter is going up fast!

I'm not sure this link will work for everyone:

Hi BloomSky Supporters,

The long wait is over and the new SKY2 and STORM are now on Kickstarter!

As a pre-launch supporter, we are offering you early access now before the campaign goes public tomorrow on July 21 at 8am PST. This sneak peek will allow you to get SKY2 and STORM for the ‘super early bird’ pricing before the limited number of spots fill up!

We are AMAZED by the incredible early support from you! We are so grateful for the amazing people who believe in our project.
The early deals of SKYPRO Kit are all gone so as a big thank you to you all, we are adding a new reward called APPRECIATION EARLY BIRD SKYPRO KIT at $219.
You know, in case you were just too busy to grab an earlier deal. If you have any friends that are on the fence, now is a good time to share this update with them through Facebook or Twitter!
Thanks again!

Just checked and noticed that they also have less than 200 units of Pledge $209 or more ($10 less)

Bloomsky is sending me a sky 1 replacement.  I am told that the Storm will work with that model.  Depending on what the stand alone is, it might be what I have been wanting to use to check my Davis out  or the other way around.  Of course these are not available for sales now, so I can wait, and wait and...

I wish the camera was a bit more flexible in being able to get night sky pictures, but there is a little light sensor on the camera that adjusts to when the light gets to a certain level that triggers it.  Putting it near a light source would remove the dark sky look.
