I have been wanting to get a webcam, but I already have too many cameras so I tried this.  It is not current weather, but a time lapse of yesterday's weather.  I have a camera that will take x number of pictures at x minute intervals.  I set the camera on a tripod to take a picture every 30 minutes for a day.  The light area in the distance of the after dark pictures is the town of Fraser, CO.  As snow moves through, the lights disappear.  Here is a link to the results.

Enjoy.

What did you use to create the SWF file?

I used the software that came with the camera, ACDSee for Pentax 3.0.  Really easy to use.

Will ACDSee run with VWS "Live" and create a JPG file like ImageSalsa 2.0.13 Weather Edition and upload to Wunderground?

I don't have either, so I have no idea.
I really have too much free time on my hands, here is yesterday's with more info.

Curious, should I include the controls like on Jan. 27 edition?

Having the temp is a nice addition. Is there any way to make the text just a little smaller? The time stamp at the top is also nice. Why is the time only random and not constant like the temp?

Thanks for the comments.  All of the info is entered manually by me.  Tomorrow I will make changes per your request.

Don't make a change based on one persons input. I may do something like this my self some day. I use a program called fwink to send my web cam images to the web. It has the ability to store the image it sends to the web to the HD. Right now my weather HD is rather small so I don't have much additional space. Plus the timer in the fwink program is stuck at 1 min intervals. I know what you are thinking. Lame excuse. Yes I know. There are other web cam programs that are free that I can use to send my image to the web plus store them on my computer. I'll get a wild hair some day and will git er done.
