I've made an addendum to the Registration Agreement so new registrations can be aware of the occasional issue caused by having our shared hosting email egress server become 'blacklisted' for spam (not caused by us!):

Note: please ensure your email address is correct.  You will be sent an email to this address from wxforum.net to validate your email when your account is manually approved.  If your spam blocker prevents you from seeing the validation email, and you fail to complete the email validation within 21 days, your registration will be deleted, and you can retry your registration.  Sometimes, the wxforum.net emails get bounced due to other websites causing the common email egress to become blacklisted, and you will not receive the validation email.  This happens most frequently on cox.net, comcast.net, sbcglobal.net and att.net addresses.  We recommend you use either hotmail.com or gmail.com addresses (where the validation email flows into the 'junk' or 'spam' folder instead of bouncing) or an email address on your weather website.  Use our contact form if you are having issues with registration or email validation.

The blacklisting happens because one or more hosts in our shared hosting environment have been spamming, so we get tarred by the same brush.  It usually is resolved in a couple of days, and email will flow again.

You can check our current status at Spamhaus if you are having issues receiving email from wxforum.net.
