I would like to as much as possible add snow depth to my data, and to display it on the web.

I know I will have to make a setup a pole outside with measurements and manually read the data (through binoculars) on a spot of the garden that will be free from any "traffic".

Has anyone done any hacks around this? VWS 14 p42.

Regards,

Ingemar

You could put your findings into a file in your vws directory, put some javascript in your HTX file that will call the data from that file, then once the page is created and uploaded your data will be on your site.

Andrew,
That's exatcly what I have done. I created a snowfall.txt file which then gets read by a JS on the website. I would like to get some automatic measuring device in place but $$$$$$$$$$$  Sad

Buy a cheep web cam and point it at the measuring stick. Can't be any easier than that.
