Last week, while I was out of town, my kids shutdown VWS.  Now that I have restarted it, a couple of the graphs show erroneous highs.  I looked in the dbase file but coldn't readily identify the data issue.

What is odd is that the erroneous data doesn't scroll out of the window as time passes.  It sticks in the left side of the panel.  If I set the window for two hours, the graph is still as goofy as the 24 hour graph.

The graphs can be viewed at http://www.stu-in-flag.net/weather/wx.htm

The offending graphs are:
Outdoor Temp/Dewpoint (http://www.stu-in-flag.net/weather/vws742.jpg)
Rain (http://www.stu-in-flag.net/weather/vws859.jpg)
SL Barometer (http://www.stu-in-flag.net/weather/vws758.jpg)

Thanks,
Stu

Perhaps try to resize the graphs, or change the plot to Horizontal bars and then back to what you had.  Looks like a "Drawing"-error issue rather than corrupt data to me.

I found one odd entry, and deleted it from the dbase file.  Graphs still wrong.  Do I have to do a major overhaul of all the bin files?  I really hate that.

Not to mention deleting that line eliminated all of my rain fall data.  I really do get tired of this database system.

As you found out. You problem was an invalid entry in the database file. Did you edit both database files? Be very careful when you edit them. If it isn't done proberly. You will ruin the databast file(s) when you save it.

Actually, the database edit didn't relieve the problem.  Upgrading to v14 from v13 made the difference.  My database is screwed.  The Precip data isn't showing.  Funny thing, if I click on "Rainfall" in the menu, the data is there, but it doesn't show on the main panel.

This is quite the goofy system for maintaining data.

I run a scheduled backup on all of the VWS folders twice a day, just in case this happens to me.  But then I have a dedicated Weather Station computer.
