How do you all think of weather events like a tornado? Do you think it's a horrible thing only, but interesting to check out and observe? Or a beautiful thing and nothing horrible about it? Evil? Magnificent?

We've had several over the years pass within a few miles but never close enough that I actually seen them, just the aftermath. Seeing the branches and leaves stripped from trees in person was enough for me.

In keeping with the title of this thread. The girl in this picutre is saying "Hi I'm Mabel Shmo, love the tornado's, and I am craaaaaazy...." great picture but I would have been taking it out the window of my car speeding in the other direction....

Oh yea def! Turns out she beat getting caught due to her great running ability. She was clocked running 28mph, the tornado was moving at only 15mph, but spinning at 447mph. She made up enough ground to keep the distance.

I can certainly see where something traumatic like this could make you never ,ever want to experience the likes of again! Guess it's best summed up as "Beautiful as long as it happens over un populated areas where nothing was damaged or nobody was killed " Least thats my way of looking at it
