Topic: Data correction on Website template

Hi all

I need to correct some of this data on my website (see screen shot) but am not sure which file I need to edit or replace in order to correct it. I am running Weather Dispaly software. What file does the template "take" its information from?

The template simply displays what the weather software data is .. If the data displayed is not correct, then it needs to be corrected in the weather software, not the template.

Sorry I realize that, just not sure which file in WD to correct. have also posted in WD forum but no response.
Just need to know what file the template "looks" at for the data.

For WD, the testtags.php is used for all the almanac data.  You can't edit that file directly to change values as it is created anew by WD from the tags template file in c:\wdisplay\webfiles\testtags.txt at each FTP upload interval.

To change WD data on your site, use WD, View menu and change values using the Averages/Extremes and/or the All Time Records buttons to open the dialogs to do that.  Since you didn't specify what values you were concerned about, I don't know which of those two dialogs would address the data issue.

Ken, I have found the sections you are on about . But also stumbled on a zipped data backup file in WD . I notice that it contains a txt file (for January and February ) this is the info I need to " re submit to WD to hopefully correct my data . Would you know how to convert this into a file that would be of use . I think it needs converting back to a data file not a txt file .
