I suddenly stopped being able to access the camera from the internet.  The local network works fine.  The Panasonic tech can't solve it, and my ISP claims all of my settings should be fine.  I have not (knowingly) made any changes to my security or firewall.  Can any one help?

That is all that I am getting too.  I copied the URL from the Maintenance page so it should be correct.  It worked until a few weeks ago.  Perhaps others with the same camera (I believe Nice Bill has the same one) could try their internet access.

Did you try power cycling the camera?

I'm at work, and I know port 50000 is blocked, just like all the others except for three I found by trial and error--which makes it really tough to see my home net cams from work! Smile

So there's no way I'd ever see yours anyway... so that's my only suggestion -- to power cycle...

What about setting it up again at viewnetcam with a different port #?

I got to work by enabling Auto Port Forwarding in the UPnP page.  I'll leave the password active for a couple of days if anybody want to play with it Just click on "single" and start having fun.  (best to use IE, some functions such as zoom do not like FireFox).

I moved it three clicks to the right.   Was surprised it worked, as I am behind some pretty tight security and locked down browser...

Hi,  I do have the same camera you do.
I was able to gain access and the camera is working fine.  I do have some questions.

You can go back and play some with the set up.

I dont see the mic. and speaker symbol for the sound -- no big thing.

Why do you have it set on refresh on every three seconds?  Is should show the pan when the camera is moving.  The refresh interval should be MOTION.  I think you will like it better??

Other wise the image is great.  See if you can't bring up the sound, unless you do not wish it, and change your refresh interval to motion.

It asked me to install some kind of software (not ActiveX but something else). I declined, but it let me play with the camera anyway, so it seemed to work for me. Pretty cool!

That's some plant between the camera and the pool!

BTW, your clock seems to be about 9 minutes behind?

Regards,

Kevin...

OK Tom,

I am just leaving your camera running.  I see you fixed the sound, I can hear the dog barking at times.

Edit:   Forgot to ask, did you get my email??

Weather Beacon:

That BIG plant is a sunflower, about 12 feet high.  After my dismal crop of tomatoes and peppers this year (nobody in this area had any better success) I think I will plant my garden with sunflowers of various height varieties next year, leave them standing in the fall and enjoy the birds all winter.

I adjusted my clock, Thank you
