I have a map background, all coords entered, and hotlink map checked. Everything comes up except the links.
The manual says, "...VWS will automatically format a webpage with hotlinks to WU and the NWS, as well as provide descriptive mouse over text." Ain't happening.
Exactly what formatted 'webpage' are they referring to?
Thanks.

Looked for a link to the meso map on your web site and did not see one. Can you please post the link for the map. If we can see whats going on it will make it easier to help you.

Sorry 'bout that, Anthony. The reason I didn't post a link is because the only one I have is to the map itself as generated by VWS - no HTML. As you will see, the source is - umm - interesting, to say the least... http://tiggrweather.net/mesomap.jpgThat snip from the manual I posted is on page 88, section 8.18.1.7.6 Hotlink Map of the v14 VWS manual. Is it saying if I insert that image into an XHTML page it will magically turn it into a usable item? Thanks.

Under Mesonet/Mesonet Map did you tick the 'Hotlick Map Template'?

On 'Display Last'...put in 1560 minutes and see if that makes a difference. Other than that, I would make sure you are processing the information correctly through your HTML settings.

It needs to be an htx file. Then let vws phrase it into an htm file. More detailed info on the Ambient forum.

OK, got it (well, at least the beginning of a page) - http://tiggrweather.net/mesomap.html. Just too dumb (or old, or both!) to realize the .jpg had to be processed before it could display. One interesting thing - my own station, which is live online, does not appear in the list. Is this normal? Thanks, folks!
