Maybe some help here http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21 where the author is very helpful.
I use Cumulus but the instructions also include some info for WD.  I did not find it difficult to install other than to overcome the correct path issue that was totally my own fault.

Ryan,

What have you tried to do so far?  Although I'm using Cumulus and you are using WD, I may be able to help.

Or you can try http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/board,61.0.html?PHPSESSID=idp8m8k57uj34o12qc7ed7nc90

First off I don't even know what to load on the server. They have so many scripts when I extracted the zip folder. The instructions on setting it up is not clear at all.

You need to copy the folders "css" and "scripts" to your server.

You will need to edit the gauges-ssT.htm file to conform with WD (replace teh webtags with WD webtags) and rename it to gauges-ss.htm and place that on your server.

In the scripts folder is a script called gauges.js, there are a couple of lines you need to modify. See the readme file for those instructions.

Your customclientrawlocal.txt file needs to be on the server as well.

Hope this helps a bit.  You can also visit the WD forum.  There is a steelseries discussion there specific to WD users.

Thanks for the reply Toby. I'm changing the tags now, but confused as to where.

Do I change where it says label to WD's wind chill tag? Sorry for the stupidity!

Hi Ryan,

No, webtags look like this <#location>, <#latitude>, <#longitude>,  <#update> - I think that is all of them.  Either chnage them to the corresponding WD web tags or remove them and thier content.

There is also a menu at the bottom of the page that you will want to remove.

Yes

Here is a WD user who has implemented the steel series gauges: http://www.gwwilkins.org/gauges-ss.php

Take a look at his page for the setup.  Since you are using eh templates the gauges will need to be incoporated into the templates.

Ok I've done everything you said to do. Edited the files and loaded them on the server. So how would I call the page www.hayskansasweather.com/ ?

Did you place the gauges-ss.php file where your other page files are?

I think you need to have WD process the customclientrawlocal.txt file and have WD upload the processed version to your server.  Right now if you look at http://www.hayskansasweather.com/customclientrawlocal.txt there is no data.

I'm not a WD user so I am not sure, but I would use the the name of the file you think is the correct one.

in WD
in control panel, webfiles/web page setup, real time ftp setup
see the custom client raw file setup...and tick to create that
make sure the needed customclientrawlocal.txt is in the clientraw folder location
