Hey everyone I live in Gulfport, MS. and were getting pounded by Isaac and I have a wireless Vantage Pro and I lost signal between the ISS and console...I went outside and saw that the door that houses the battery and the cables where they connect to the station had blown open...Is that the reason why I lost signal and what happens if it gets wet inside? Will the signal come back after it dries out?

Thanks

A moist SIM circuit board will definitely cause failure.  Dry it out then dry it further with a compressed air cylinder.  If it doesn't fix the problems, then open it up and leave it inside a dry room.   Also check the RJ plugs and sockets for moisture.  It doesn't take much moisture to cause failure.   Packing the entire ISS in a jar of rice will help dry it sooner.  Rice is a home made desiccant.
I've had one that took 3 days to get the circuit board dry enough to operate again.
