I have two WMR968 implementations, one in Maine, the other in NJ.  The THGR968 sensor in Maine died rendering the WX200 software inoperable.  Oregon Scientific doesn't make the THGR968 any longer recommending users buy the THGR122NX instead.  I bought the 122NX but it arrived the same day someone was departing for Maine that could redeploy my working THGR968.  So I packed the THGR968 up and sent it with them before the 122NX arrived.  Now that I have the 122NX and it communicates with my WMR968 main LCD the WX200 software in NJ is inoperable as the 122NX doesn't have a channel zero, only 1,2 or 3.  It is communicating with the LCD on channel 1 so I can see the outside temperature and humidity but since there is nothing coming through on channel zero the WX200 software isn't working.  I am not a C programmer.  I have spent many hours looking through the source code (running on Linux).  The author, Tim Witham's e-mail address gets returned as user unknown as does others that have their addresses in the source.  I know others have adopted the 122NX.  I don't want to have to buy VWS and run it on a dedicated Windoze machine.  I want to stay with Linux.  Has anyone here resolved the WMR200 THGR122NX channel 1 communication problem?

You may want to get ahold of Heath (WUHU Software) on this forum or on the yahoo group page to see if WUHU works with Linux.  I have a 968 running on WUHU with 122N on channel 1.  You can designate that channel in the .ini file and it works wonderfully.  I also have a LaCrosse WS-2315 and a Davis VP2 running on WUHU as well.  Heath is very responsive to questions and suggestions.  But I don't know anything about Linux.

Good luck!  Smile

If you want to run Linux, look no further then http://wviewweather.com.   It's very reliable and supports your station (I've used it for a year+ now on my wmr200a).

I downloaded WUHU and have it running on a Windows XP Pro machine but can't find where to change the outdoor setting to read channel 1.

Look in the WUHU folder for configuration data.ini file  Open it up and look for WMR968 Outdoor Sensor=0   Change the 0 to a 1

Be sure the program is not running when you make that change.

You may want to save all the text in that file to a text file so you can see how it's laid out.  You can also change upload times and delay the program launch times and stuff by tweaking some of the numbers in that file.

Good luck!  Smile

EDIT:  Here's a link to the WUHU help file:
