I'm a new user here and also new to using the free trial version V14.01 of ambient weather. I used FreeWx-wi-1.01 for some time but it is not supported anylonger. I thought I would try ambient weather. I am now sending data to Wunderground with no problem, but am not successful sending data to Weatherforyou.
When I upload the data I get an error sent to notepad stating " the date, time and invalid parameter, check internet connection, login to .... attempt 1, attempt 2, attempt 3."
I sent the error printout to ED at Ambient Weather and he stated " This is an ftp login error and not related to Weatherforyou.com
 WeatherForYou is http write command.
My guess is you have entered the StationID or password incorrectly if it works with Wunderground.com
 Ed.
I checked with Weatherforyou and I am inputting the correct Station ID and correct password.

I am begging for help.
Jim

Thank you for your reply. I saw those FAQ's the other day and scrutinized them all but nothing seemed to take care of the problem. On the weatherforyou/Hamweather Settings screen above the "uploadnow" box, it states next to an icon, "up load schedule". When I check on the Icon, the schedule screen "update method" I don't know if that is the same as "upload" schedule or not. I figure I want to upload not update. However, I select "interval" and sellect 10 minutes. Two days, no output. I then tried "schedule" and checked every 10 minutes for two days and no output. I state again, Wunderground works flawlessly, no problems. I'm grateful for the trial version of the ambient program, but if it doesn't work, hmmmm!!  I'll keep trying for the next few days or so.
