I really would like to upgrade me base unit as it doesnt show both indoor and outdoor temp at the same time. So Im wondering if the wmr200 base/console will work with my sensors and if yes, has anyone got 1 I can have for about £50?

It looks like the WMR80 has the protocol 3.0 version sensors, so yes,..they should be compatible with wmr200.

I also see here where some of the sensors listed for the WMR200 are also listed for the WMR80 which seems to indicate compatibility between the 2 stations. Maybe send an e-mail to OS explaining what you're doing and see what they say.

Here's a sensor/station chart that may help you out.
