Ever have this happen to you?

The other day I was in the backyard and saw something funny. To those who have multi anemometer/wind vanes, have you ever seen this happen to you?
I know the Davis is somewhat less sensitive to wind but still found this humerous.
One vane points North and one points South.

Being that close together, there might be some interference between the two. Along the lines of wing vorticies dangerous to aircraft.

Besides the "/" between anemometer and wind vane I do not know of which "/" your referring too.

Could be. Still funny though don't you think? One thing that doesn't lead me to believe wind eddies cause this is that this would probably be happening on a regular basis if true. Then on the other hand that statement maybe wrong. Maybe it's a matter of the wind hitting the tower at the right spot creating a rare wind eddie.
Always good to laugh at these things.
