Hi all,

I have a very odd occurrence with my system. I have a WMR100 temperature/humidity/wind sensor with my WMR200 console. The issue is that my outdoor temperature, humidity and barometer seem to have all "stuck." However, the wind continues to seem to be working. You can see my data here: http://stu-in-flag.net

I have replaced the batteries in the console and reset it, but the problem continues. Any ideas? Is it the death of my sensor?

Let me try a self-reply to see if it makes sense to anyone else.

It looks like my temperature and dewpoint are the part that is stuck. Looking down at my density altitude graph on http://stu-in-flag.net, it appears to be changing, but not as much as it should or has. I bet if I look at the uncorrected pressure, it's changing. But, since the WMr200 uses temperature to correct the barometric pressure, it is getting stuck as well.

I used to live in dread of a flatline, I'd come in first thing in the morning and sure enough, at about dark:30 it would do that and in my case it had lost "connectivity" with the sensor(s). I spent half my time moving things, trying to keep them locked in, the 100 never had that problem. My first 200 was essentially useless, the second somewhat better. Do a reset on the sensor and go into search mode on the console. I have no idea why it happens, sometimes I'd go for a couple months with no problem, nothing changing in the house and then a sensor would drop out. I went to Davis earlier this year, life is not boring, I can't find a place around the estate it doesn't work.

The low signal strength is a great point. But, I am still getting my wind signal (which is in the same unit because it is from an old WMR100). Also, the VWS software shows green for signal strength.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the green light, but that's curious, I would believe the unit only has one transmitter for wind/temp/hum. Although that may not be the case, for some reason I seem to think I remember that 2 of the batteries run wind and the other 2 run temp/hum. In which case I'd check the batteries and especially the terminal contacts.
