Saratoga, CA, USA Weather - free PHP scripts

WWW
« on: July 02, 2012, 03:09:43 PM »

Looks like the NWS webpages have changed this morning and so the advforecast2.php script is having issues parsing the updated format.

I'm working on an update to the script.

Best regards,
Ken

Looks like the icons for Outlook in the current conditions section on the index page is also affected as it is missing too.

Thanks Ken,
I was aware they were updating their forecast page but I didn't know it was this soon and really exactly how it would affect us end users Razz

Evidently the NWS software is having trouble is some locations also..my local wfo in Blacksburg Va had some scrambled text data earlier today as well.

Thanks for all your work and efforts!

The links now contain a language component. I tried changing the script using the new link but that didn't do it. Their own link to the printable forecast also doesn't contain the images.

I understand updating the look of the site, what I don't understand is why the hell would you change links that point to a script.
I sent them a VERY nasty email... not that it will do any good.

I made a note on my site to inform viewers of the problem because I don't know how long this will last.

It's called forecast-new.php

The script calls
Code:
<!-- advforecast2.php (multi) - V3.03 - 02-Jul-2012 -->
so the revision is coming as soon as he tests it fully.
