Hi:

I'm new to the weather hobby and to the WXForum.  I thought I would introduce myself by sharing my NWR decoder project with everyone.  Now it's not a weather receiver, it simply decodes the audio (Weather Radio / AM / FM / TV / Weather Underground) that you provide too it.  It can print out the entire string, or simply format it as shown in this example:

Originator: National Weather Service
Event: Required Weekly Test
Locations: 9
Location Codes: 13053 13145 1081 13197 13215 1113 13259 13263 13307
Duration: 360
Day: 179
Time: 1514
Callsign: KFFC/NWS
Warning Alert Tone detected.
End Of Message.

Or with some imagination, it can do just about anything you want it to.  It provides the data, how you use it is up to you.  It is Arduino based and Open Source.  The link is here:

Any comments or suggestions are more than welcome!  I am planning to purchase a weather station and really become more active in the discussions.

Thanks!
