I purchased all the unites between 1994 and 1997,And I have all of them working right now.The only bad thing is they run on 4C cell batteries they can last from 6 months to around 2 years in the rain console. The barometer is fantastic and the humidity puts the Davis Vantage Vue to shame I have one of those all so.I have the temp probe in a R.M. Young 41003-2 shield. And the accuracy for the temp is fantastic all so.

Is there a windows program that will download data from the units?  I think the program that came with these was DOS and I don't think they will work on the latest computers with a USB to Serial convertor.

I don't know of any software for the old Nimbus instruments.I wished some one would write a program for them. The only problem I had was with my humidity sensor one of the tiny screws stripped out so I had to solder one of the leads to the circuit board that the probe itself is attached. And it is a Honeywell  sensor.

WeatherView 32 V6 works great with the Nimbus instruments. I'm still using it today to publish data from the Nimbus sensors to the internet. The only issue is your battery life will drop to about 3 weeks when using the serial port continuously.

Also I believe support for Nimbus instruments was dropped in WeatherView V7 and up. So you'll have to stay with V6 if you can even get it anymore.
