If I uninstall it, and try again, is it pretty easy to get everything set back up?

Hi,

I use Core FTP Lite.  Easy to use and the lite version is free.  URL at http://www.coreftp.com/download.html.

I have been using this FTP program for the past 7 years or so without any issues.

I've used core FTP lite for a while. It is a good program. I like cute FTP pro better.

If you haven't changed anything on your end with Filezilla, it could be an issue with the server.  That can happen from time to time.  Wink
Have you been successful connecting with any other ftp program, say like the one in Dreamweaver?

Fixed it! My ip address was banned because I had put the wrong password into filezilla a few times over the course of the last few months Cool

Great - Good to hear

It would not have made a bit of difference which programme you tried -
Would have been same result.

Yes I was very worried!!! Not trying to advertise or promote, but it was my web hosters at ixwebhosting that helped me out, they are super helpful! Smile

Keep close watch on your account there, I had two instances where someone hacked mine and somehow got my CC info.  IX was not very forthcoming in a) telling me it happened and b) fixing it.  Granted this was about five years ago.  Sure hope they've changed over there.
