VP2 WIRELESS temp/hum sensor failure
«

Here we go again. Three years ago the sensor failed and was replaced, now right in the middle of tropical storm Debby it quit again. Davis reconditioned replacement is being shipped. What is it with these sensors?
For the last 3 days I have been receiving false or no data for outside temp and humidity. I stopped the uploads to the internet weather sites. Should I put the console in setup mode until I replace the sensor? If I leave it in normal mode until I get the new sensor there will be erronious data for the two values but BAR and RAIN will still be saving accurate data.
If I put the console in setup can I somehow later delete the false data for just HUM and TEMP?
Any help will ge greatly appreciated.

You could use

to export/import corrections.

...Davis reconditioned replacement...
For a T/H sensor? I'd hope it was a brand new one, maybe at a favourable price - not sure how you recondition a T/H sensor?

Uncouple the temp/hum plug from the ISS's SIM jack on the premise that no data is better than false data. The rest of the ISS sensors, rain, wind, etc., can continue to run.

People always talk about the weather, but they never do anything about it. Not me. I'm gonna measure it.
