I have a cabled VP2 with firmware v1.90 and I just recently upgraded to WeatherLink v6.0.0.  I send my weather data to APRS and for some reason WeatherLink stopped sending barometric pressure readings after upgrading.

Here's a copy of the log file

First time report sent with WeatherLink v6.0.0:
06/11/12 10:24p (KNYCOLON1 -> APRS address:3855614401.) APRS upload success.
06/11/12 10:24p (KNYCOLON1) APRS string: "EW0288>APRS,TCPIP*:@120224z4243.98N/07350.58W_1/001g005t068r000p000P000h66b00000L000.DsVP" Sea Level Bar: 1020.7  Raw Bar: 1009.3  R: 1.01126

Last time it sent Using WeatherLink v5.8.2:
06/11/12  9:30p (KNYCOLON1) Successfully uploaded APRS.
06/11/12  9:30p (KNYCOLON1) APRS string: "EW0288>APRS,TCPIP*:@120130z4243.98N/07350.58W_36/003g009t069r000p000P000h65b10211L000.DsVP" Sea Level Bar: 1020.8  Raw Bar: 1009.4  R: 1.01126

I bolded the part of the string that I believe should be the barometric pressure.  Is that correct?  It lists the sea level and raw pressure, but is not sending.

My CWOP Data Page

Is it a bug or a setting I'm missing with the new version? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

Take a look at this topic.  http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=10181.0

Yes, you have correctly highlighted the barometer data portion of the string.

I am using a cabled VP2.  Upgrading the console firmware from version 1.90 to version 2.03 (Beta) seems to have fixed this.

So, it appears to be (in this case) something to do with console firmware.  Unfortunately, the Davis support site says the latest firmware is 1.90 - so you'll have to contact Davis support to find out what to do.

Davis folks sent me v2.03 and that did the trick.  Thanks again!
