Wow! This is a HUGE line of storms!! It extends from Omaha, NE down past Lubbock, TX!!! I will post some more radar pics tomorrow hopefully, the file sizes are too big right now, but I have about 150 on file now This picture dosen't show a whole lot of the line but it's the only one within file size right now, I'm getting ready to sleep or else I would fix the rest. This is from the Altus, OK radar site.

It looks from my point here, Omaha and along the Missouri is getting a lot of rain. It looks like it is heading North and East, guessing that when it gets here, not much... and it is dry.
I am attaching a jpg showing what GRlevel x is showing for rain accumulation and where I am. As I said the soil is quite dry

The forecast models all show the front moving veeerrry slloowwwwly. My GR3 2.0 with Allison House feed shows a cold front just sitting NW of Lincoln. It hasn't moved much in the last 8 hours. I'll bet if you're patient you'll be rewarded with some nice rains. We were extremely dry until the past 24 hrs. when I got over 2" of rain. Edit: URL removed because the front has moved the east.

We could use some rain here in WV. It has been a very dry June. Charleston is about an inch below normal for this month and about 3 inches below normal for the year, but the only real chance of rain for our area for the next 2 weeks appears to be Monday Night and it is isolated

not a drop of rain fell here. nothing is even wet on the leaf wetness sensor data. Missouri area of Iowa is recovering, I think there is a thread here regarding the sand on the soil and pot holes from the flooding, they really don't need that. The only good stuff is it goes North and that eventually flows into the aquifer Des Moines uses a bit to get its water.
Well, maybe it is time for a rain dance of sorts.. I will till the garden.

Last night's storms treated much of Oklahoma to some generous sized rains as it moved out of Kansas. Severe activity apparently declined when it arrived to central Oklahoma.

Here is a radar picture from Dodge City, KS. Big gust front just to the west of Dodge City in the picture! It was awesome to watch coming right at me. I could see it for miles. Few power lines down in Hays but that's about it. Sirens went of at 8:10pm.

Storm spotter reported debris and rotation near Hays high school so emergency manager for Ellis county decided to sound sirens. I saw it myself. Turns out it was a gustnado. Emergency manager said better safe than sorry.

There's once again strong storms in the Texas panhandle and NW Kansas tonight. TV weatherman thinks they won't hold together long enough to make it very far into Oklahoma since atmosphere is more stable tonight. Storms are expected to form yet again in NW Kansas tomorrow and may make it to north Oklahoma.

That's a real bummer, I bet dew points will be in the low to middle 70s! Highs will be around 90 tomorrow with dew points in the middle to upper 60s....but it will get worse next week with highs in the middle 90s with dewpoints around 70

We got 0.27 " over here, most went south east.. The dew and temp right now are 68.3 temp dew 68; no wind and humdity is 97%. Monday promises 98F for the high before dropping back into the upper 80s, but no rain is forecasted. I suppose it could form and some nasty storms, but I don't think so.
That day I am taking my mother in law to an appointment in the early afternoon, the wife is off at a meeting . I suppose I will hide out in the house and eventually start cleaning that basement like I had planned to do.
Now that I have this IPhone... I am wasting my time trying to get it to behave like my droid did.. HAHAHAHAHAH
I am guessing it is going to be one of those dry summers. I am going to need to waste water, watering my dwarf peach trees.
