Hey Everyone,

We have recently re-launched our weather website, i have moved the site to a custome made template becuase there are so many sites based on the Saratoga theme already.

The Web-Site

http://www.oswestryweather.co.uk

Things that have changed

  • I have added a second webcam to the mix (on between 4am - 9pm GMT)
  • Re-Designed the site from the ground up
  • Daily videos are now available from the webcam
  • Moved web-host to a reliable soloution
  • Migrated the weather server to a dedicated network
  • Edited the Weather Warning script built by Satagoa weather to work on the new theme
  • Edited the alamac script to contain functions so i could print sunset and sunrise in seperate locations of the template
  • Created a system status script, when a problem occurs on the site this changes to notify views that data maybe out of date.

Things still to-do
  • Webcam needs auto refresh functionality
  • Weather data needs auto refresh functionality
  • Station status page needs completing, this will include server status and file status

I hope you like the changes that we have made

Thanks for looking
Richard

The content looks Great!  Applause However the site seems to display a bit off for me in IE9. The content isn't centered over the page background (I have a wide display).
