New anemometer siting

(1/3) > >>

Hhabilis:
My avatar is a good shot of the new siting for my Davis anemometer.
I set it up today and proceeded to fall 3 meters off of the ladder. I'm posting this from the ER waiting for X-ray results.  ](*,) left elbow, back and ribs.
But I got everything back up and running before the pain set in.

Welcome to the forum and ouch!
Man I hope everything will be ok. I love the fact you actually went back up and finished the install.
I think this is the first time anyone has posted getting injured mounting their anny.
In all seriousness I hope everything is fine.

George Richardson:
I'm sorry, but I have to comment! If I fell 10' putting up some weather apparatus my wife would have cussed me up one side and down the other, but she would have felt somewhat sorry for me and driven me to the ER. If, on the other hand, "I got everything back up and running before the pain set in", I would have had to walk to the ER, and further, if I took pictures of the result, she would have been kicking my rear all the way!

Way to go man, I'm proud of you!

George

Aardvark:
