Something I still do not understand the difference in CUtags and Realtime. To update the template I have set cumulus CUtags.php sending via ftp every 5 minutes. Also active realtime shipping every 2 minutes. My station is updated every 48seg.
This also this setup?
regards

The CUtags provide the content for the PHP pages and updating every 5 minutes is appropriate.

The realtime.txt file is used only by the thermometer.php and the AJAX updates to some of the data in the gizmo and the dashboard.  Upload of the realtime.txt should be more often (like every 15 seconds or so).  The the ajaxCUwx.js script can update the dashboard and gizmo every 15 seconds or so.

Best regards,
Ken

Ahh, yes.. if your station only updates every 45 seconds, then either a 60 second update of realtime.txt or just turn off the AJAX updates entirely.  The AJAX updates are just a 'nice' thing to have and are not required for template presentation .. all the data is already in the CUtags uploaded by Cumulus every 5 minutes.   To disable the AJAX updates on the website, just comment out the line in Settings-weather.php that has the ajaxCUwx.js data value in it, and the AJAX updates will cease.

Best regards,
Ken

Voy a desabilitar realtime ya que creo no tiene sentido en este tipo de estaciones.
Gracias Ken

Translation: I will disable realtime as I believe there is no point in such stations. Thanks Ken

Just remember that commenting out the line in Settings-weather.php will disable AJAX on the webpage.  To fully disable realtime updates you need to go into Internet Settings under Sites/Options and
remove the checks in the Enable Realtime, Enable Realtime FTP and Realtime.txt FTP boxes.
