Sunday will be a very warm day for many, likely the warmest of the year. Highs will be in the mid 90s throughout much of the midwest (see map). The warm up is due to a weakening storm system that will eventually become occluded on Sunday. As noted in the map on the left, there will be a very sharp cut off from the hot weather, to the comfortable temps in the 70s. It depends on where this front sets up during the afternoon on sunday as to who will be in the 90s and who will not.

PAH is talking about upper 90s for Monday and lower 70s by Friday.  It'll be interesting to see if that happens.

Hopefully there'll be some rains in between.

93 predicted here for Sunday and Monday.  We broke a 1914 89 degree record with yesterday's high of 91.

We were suppose to hit 89 here today but rain this morning and more awhile ago may not let us get near that forecast. We did get to 77 though but back down to 70 now.

the humidity is making it too hot to finish the mowing, but maybe we'll get some rain out of all this

"Todays high of 95° at 3:43 PM missed the NOAA record high of 98° set in 1911 by 3 degrees for Cave Country Weather"
Spent the day pressure washing the deck & porch, then swimming  Cool

My station is down at the moment to move it to another location, but we got a high temperature of 92F in Charleston.
