Hourly rain settings

We've been getting some nice afternoon rains in the Atlanta, GA area and I began to wonder just how much.  I checked my VWS info as collected by my Davis weather station -- and the hourly readings don't seem to be registering.  I guess it's possible I didn't check it in time and it reset to 0. 

Anyone else had this problem -- or do I just need to be more prompt in checking the readings?
