First of all, for anyone that dosen't know, I believe the update on GR for the dual polarization is scheduled to be released on May 21st.

Anyway, my question to anyone who might know is that if you upgrade to the dual polarization when it comes out, but your local radar (I.E. KRLX, Charleston, WV isn't schedule to upgrade until September I believe), hasn't upgraded to dp yet, will GR automatically change to dp when the new radar is available for that site???

Thanks! Cool

Not sure yet how the DP will work in the GRL program yet.

If I'm not mistaken the GRLevel3 v2.0 will handle DualPol.  I believe it's considered a major upgrade and might incur an upgrade fee.

Yeah thats the only bummer, a $40 dollar upgrade fee, but I think it will be worth it Cool

No upgrade fee if you bought GRL3 within the last year (or something!). I have the new one running on this laptop but it doesn't want to run on my desktop. Gotta figure that one out.
