The cabinet is just a regular wood cabinet sitting in my office. I put them in there to eliminate excessive air current from fans, windows open, etc. And I'm only trying to get the VP2 console and Envoy to track closely on inside temperature and humidity readings. I just checked them both and see that the temp reading is spot on but the humidity reading on the Envoy is 3% lower than the console even though they are sitting right next to each other.
I'm still new to all of this and I'm starting to realize

that I would need a more controlled environment to really get these devices to agree a bit more. I'm thinking I'm going to use a large, clear plastic storage container sealed off with a saline solution inside to regulate humidity. It appears that the console is faster at responding to humidity changes than the Envoy is and it's just something I'll have to live with.
