Hi,

I want to delete useless summary files.bin of previous years. The problem is I can't access de summary folder (c:\programs\vws\setup\summary) through Windows Vista browsing. It's just absent! I can only access it using VWS, but in this case, I can only delete one file at the time which is extremely long. Solution ?

Thanks!

If you navigate to the summary folder then look in the toolbar at the top for "Compatibility files"
Clicking on that should take you to the actual location of the missing files.

To avoid this in the future, don't install VWS in the Program Files directory.  I would recommend installing VWS in
it's own directory such as C:\VWS.

I always use Windows Explorer to work in the files and if you don't have it set to "show all files" then it hides some from view. At the end of each year I group the bin files into a yearly folder (not sure why I keep them) so I can go back if there were ever a question. Windows is just another version of Big Brother Gov. etc. determined to protect us from ourselves. Thanks, but no thanks, I'll take responsibility for what I do.
