In Oklahoma, Oklahoma City and Tulsa pretty much shattered the March average record.  Tulsa at 61.5 degrees, OKC at 60.8.  They also note that in the two hottest March months, each of those years was followed by a cooler than normal April, with one of those recording a hard freeze during the month.

It's already 90 today here and humid.  The A/C has been running now for about a week.

We also had a record warm march.  The average temp was 50.9 this month.  Old record was 47.7 set back in 1945.

Roanoke, Virginia also had a record warm month of March 2012.  The 57.4 average beat the old record set in 1921.

There were more than 300 such records nationally.

Charleston, WV recorded its 3rd warmest March, behind 1921 (2nd) and I believe 1905 Surprised
