Good work Nick, your setup looks really nice! Applause

I have to find some fine mesh screen material and fabricate a dust/dirt filter to put across the fan's input on mine. This time of year, between rainy seasons. the air gets really dry and dusty. My FARS fan pulls quite a bit across the sensor and fills in the vent/seepage holes on it.

I am curious......which way does the fan push air from the top?  or the bottom? or does it matter?

I mounted the sensor as low as i could and mounted the fan below the sensor.  The fan pulls air from the bottom. It was suggested to me that by pulling the ambient air from the bottom up over the sensor that I would get a more accurate reading. I have a Davis VP2 wireless station (non FARS) about 100 yards from my Lacrosse station. The readings from both stations are very close to each other.

I think you are pulling air near the warmer wood...you might want to move it.
