When I changed mine in 'Rainfall' I think I also got the pop-up, but I think the pop-up was in a question form and I was able to continue and changed 'Rainfall'.   However my VWS display still hasn't changed. Which verison of VWS are you using? I'm using 14 p45.  I've also tried changing the .bin files for 2009 and 2009_01 under settings>Recall Daily, Monthly and Yearly Archive with no success!

This box that pops up has been discussed before. If I remember correctly. You have to ignore it and keep adjusting the totals, daily, monthly & yearly by the correct amonts. Everything will eventually stick. So if this is the only measureable precip that you've had for this month. You would enter the daily amount for the day it occured. Then enter the same amount for monthly and yearly.
