I had passed along all I could to Ed and he emailed yesterday afternoon, so he's aware and apparently working on it. I'm on p48 at the moment.

Ed wrote a diagnostic program showing the Davis data stream in VWS, I ran it and sent the results back. Not knowing exactly what to expect I don't know what it tells, but channel 1 is not mapping, so I'm guessing that means VWS is thinking the first channel coming down is really ch 1, but that's only a wild guess. So we'll see what he finds.

Edit: Sorry, that wasn't clear, it's NOT seeing channel 1 and thinks the first one it actually sees, which is in reality ch 2, is being mapped as channel 1. At any rate, I'm sure Ed will figure it out and get a fix.

On the bright side, I got the new Davis up on a 3 meter mast and hope to step over to it about midnight tomorrow night so we're close(r) to a "real" weather station - ha.

I didn't hear back yet, maybe Monday. However, in my case what would normally be considered ch 1 from the ISS is appearing in "Outside" dials, gauges etc. so I'm going to use that as I step over tonite from OS to Davis.

Are you using an extra temp/hygro station in addition to the ISS like Steve is?
Did prior versions of VWS work for you?

I reinstalled p46 and shut down the remote ch 2 console and WeatherLink and get the same problem, no Ch 1 unless I check "use channel 1 as outside" and then I get a reading on a gauge. So, hopefully Ed will track down the mapping problem.

Did prior versions of VWS work for you? Not knowing, I cannot say, this is was my only version, but I thought it worked when I was using the basic version though.
