I'm looking for a Davis data logger for a Weather Wizard III, Windows version. JUST the logger and the attached cables. The logger must work.   Thanks    Jack    PM or email me.

Those things are pretty rare.  Maybe one of Dekay/Bellfryboys logger's would work??  Just an idea.

Bushman   Nope, theirs won't work....the WWIII uses a jack similar to a telephone connection. I think it's a 4 pin jack.

maybe you need a serial interface. I would still throw a PM to one or other of them. I believe that their design is based on a serial output with a serial/usb interface cable.

I have a Belfryboy data logger and its great. He is very good as well, he was fantastic in helping me with a small problem, mainly caused by failure to read his postings properly.

Hi,
I'm having Weatherlink datalogger for WWIII, but the logger doesn't work anymore. I connected the the logger when supply was also connected to WWIII (didn't read the manual). Weather station is about 6 years old, so no warranty anymore.

I've also read the postings from Dekay/Bellfryboys, so if anyone can tell if their logger will work with the WWIII; I am very interested.

Thanks Remie

Dekay/belfryboy's WON'T work, theirs is a 20 pin connector like what is used for VP1/VP2 consoles. The 7862 logger is MUCH bigger and has a telephone-type jack on it....I've checked this out. I have their logger in my VP2 console and YES, it does work great.

OK, thanks for the answer.
Maybe there is a way to modify the Dekay/Bellfryboys logger?

I'm afraid not, the interface is entirely different. I may be able to get my hands on a used one though, I will let you know in a couple of days.
