LeSuer County Minnesota.
Southwest of the Twin cities. Look for a streak moving northeast.

Hardly any snow on the ground here. Very dry!!!  Maybe 1/2 inch this weekend.  Still won't be enough.

Wow!! Thats a grass fire? Thats crazy showing up on radar!

Great find! Hope it didnt cause much damage...So does the radar pick up the smoke from it or what part is it picking up?

...wonder if the U.S.Forestry Service is aware of that capability and is considering using it to monitor their forests for break-outs of fires during fire season?

All of our snow is gone here, well, except the piles. But those should be almost gone after today. We could see 70 around here.

Not too worried about grassfires here for a long time, weve gotten too much rain that has caused some minor flooding around here
