Been working fine for months and woke up this morning to this:

Quote
Advisory Information Unavailable, invalid advisory zone selected.

Googled my zone CAZ048 and shows active advisories for my area.  Zone is the same in the code also on my website.  Maybe wait for next update from NOAA?  Not uploaded correctly for some reason?  Any ideas?  Thanks...link in my signature and another page here:

I think there's a problem with the ATOM/CAP advisory server at the NWS.

http://alerts.weather.gov/cap/ca.php?x=2 doesn't show CAZ048 as a zone, but
the NWS forecast for Riverside, CA at http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Riverside&state=CA&site=SGX&textField1=33.9533&textField2=-117.395 does show CAZ048 as the correct zone for Zone Forecasts
(http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?zoneid=CAZ048) and for the current Hazardous Weather Outlook at
http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=CAZ048&warncounty=CAC065&firewxzone=CAZ248&local_place1=2+Miles+SSW+Riverside+CA&product1=Hazardous+Weather+Outlook )

I'd send them a message alerting them to the issue with their servers.

Best regards,
Ken

Yeah... forecasts don't update either on my server. Some advisories /forecasts not updated since 04/04!!!!
Have a couple say updated today, but still carry old info... eg

http://ourspecial.net/twinhollies/weathercenter.
Also really messing with page load time!
Other functions such as 'radar' links ok...

I've been noticing slow and sporadic connections to the NWS server since the first of the month when there are numerous alerts.
It's just like bad weather... Not much you can do but wait it out and hope for the best.

I'm not sure of your geographic location but try CAZ248.
They no longer list CAZ048.

The ATOM feed shows nothing for your zone or county but I'm seeing a Wind Advisory.

Yes, there is a problem and they are looking into it.

All the counties for Ohio seem to be from another state. My county (Butler) is listed as "Plumas"

It looks like NWS finally got the problems resolved however, when I look at the zone list especially for CA, WA, and NV, I see a lot of zones duplicated (same zone name, different zone code).  What's up with that?

Here are some examples:

CA:
San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys - The Inland Empire CAZ248
San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys -The Inland Empire CAZ048
San Diego County Coastal Areas CAZ043
San Diego County Coastal Areas CAZ243
San Luis Obispo County Central Coast CAZ034
San Luis Obispo County Central Coast CAZ234
San Luis Obispo County Interior Valleys CAZ237
San Luis Obispo County Interior Valleys CAZ037

NV:
Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties NVZ459
Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties NVZ001
Northern Washoe County NVZ458
Northern Washoe County NVZ005

WA:
Lower Columbia Basin of Washington WAZ631
Lower Columbia Basin of Washington WAZ028
North Cascades WAZ685
North Cascades WAZ658

Interesting... CAZ034 gets a forecast using http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?zoneid=CAZ034 but substituting 234 for the zone gets an error page.

However, using either of them in this URL gets the same fire weather forecast:
