I was wondering where the Template gets the Seasonal Rain Totals from as today is officially the first day of Spring in this part of the world and my total has not reset to zero. I'm using the Weather Display version. Thanks in advance

Edit: Rather than start another thread i have another question here about the wxtrends.php. I have it working here www.waterfordcityweather.com/wxtrends.php but the direction plot gif is not showing. how do i get this to work properly?

Mike

For Weather-Display users, the source is from testtags.php
Quote
// Rain
// ====
// Current:
// --------
$dayrn =  '  5.2 mm';   // today's rain
$monthrn =  '5.2 mm';   // rain so far this month
$yearrn =  '112.8 mm';   // rain so far this year
$dayswithnorain =  '0';   // Consecutative days with no rain
$dayswithrain =  '1';   // Days with rain for the month
$dayswithrainyear =  '15';   // Days with rain for the year
$currentrainratehr =  '0.0';   // Current rain rate, mm/hr (or in./hr)
$maxrainrate =  '0.6';   // Max rain rate,for the day, mm/min (or in./min)
$maxrainratehr =  '36.0';   // Max rain rate,for the day, mm/hr (or in.mm)
$maxrainratetime =  '2:21 AM';   // Time that occurred
// Yesterday:
// ----------
$yesterdayrain =  '0.0 mm';   // Yesterday rain
//
$vpstormrainstart = '3/3/2012';  //Davis VP Storm rain start date
$vpstormrain = '5.2 mm';           //Davis VP Storm rain value
and $yearrn is set from WD tag %yearrn%

In WD, Control Panel, Units&Other Settings, Reset Times TAB,
check the setting for 'Month to reset the yearly rain total' .. I have it as '7' since our rain-year is from July to June.
Do you have it set to 3 for March to February rain year?

The direction plot seems to be there now Smile

Thanks Ken

I did manage to get the dirplot.gif working properly. The seasonal rain issue is not a big deal really as in Ireland the whole year is rain season  Wink

I've a similar issue.
Trends.gif uploads correctly on my webserver but rain past year and past month doesn't update anymore.
I don't know what's wrong but i hope in your help.
I've attached a screenshot of my almanac and trend pages.
Regards,

Alessandro
