It looks quite decent, but the cable needs securing to stop it flapping in the wind.
You want some plain wire from the pole to the shed, and cable tie it to that, them some hammer in cable fixing pins along the shed.

Seconded!

Well done on getting set up though.

What plain wire do you mean? I did buy a 4 pin RJ11 extension but it didn't report wind direction so i don't think that worked.

I spent ages trying to get it all setup, will look at getting that wire secured but some advice on how to do that would be most welcome

Nice work Rich.

But as previous poster did say, you need to secure the cables or there is a risk that they will snap in heavy wind.

Those cables will never stand up to the constat flexing they will pull loose at the connectors.  Plus you need drip loops to keep the water out of the sensors.

If you do not have anythng else use some of that cloths line and run it from the mast to the garage and then tape the cables to the cloths line.

I have made the modifications as outlined here, the cable coming from the wind sensor is now cable tied to a peice of Washing Line which i have secured to the pole and the shed, this is tight and wont flex in the wind.

Same goes for the rain collection sensor, the cable has now been secured to the shed to prevent damage.

Will upload a new picture later.
