Hi. I changed from the standard Saratoga Dashboard to Webster Weather's Alt Dashboard. After the migration there several issues that I'm trying to resolve, but it's not clear to me whether these were issues BEFORE the migration or after. There are a bunch of small issues which I'll take care of, but...
- In "Current Conditions", it shows the correct weather conditions (icon and text) for a second or so, and then shows and bogus conditions. And then sometimes randomly changes every few seconds. For example, in the last minute it has changed from moderate drizzle to light rain to "It is dry". I looked in the "Web Files/ Web Page --> Real Time Client FTP/AJAX/..." window but could not see anything wrong. Any ideas?
- In "Current Conditions", it shows the "New Record HIGH", which is incorrect. Where is this coming from?
- After the migration, the radar images at the top are still there. I want them to be at the bottom. What file controls format of this page? How can those radar images be moved to the bottom?
Thanks,
Dan.

It's supposed to update about every 6-10 seconds as reading change on your station, it will do that for about 3-5 minutes then time-out and not update anymore. The New Record high comes from a setting in the config, look in the instructions on page: 3 and 10 The radar , etc come from index.php. You can just move that code to below the regular dashboard. Alos, just for future reference, if you tell us what version of script you're using (My scripts will tell you at the bottom of the display) and give us a link to your site so we can see the problem you're having. My suggestions are for version 6.5x of my script, if you are using another version, these my not be exactly right. Scott Hi. Scott, Hi. Since my station is brand new, I don't have two years so my $useSTAhilo was set to false (as per the doc). OTOH, another user pointed out that my ajax-dashboard6 was incorrect. So I reset ajax-dashboard6 to point to use wxforecast.php instead of wxsimforecast.php, and all the "New High" issues are gone. I moved the radar code below the regular dashboard code and that solved the radar issue. Regarding the version, my scripts were downloaded and installed from your site yesterday. I'm using the latest versions. E.g. 6.53 of the Alt Dashboard. Regards, Dan.

At this point, all of the issues I mentioned above are resolved except for the Current Conditions top icon/text. I understand that that this data updates every x seconds for n number of updates. That's not the issue. The issue is that after you open the page or click the refresh button, what appears to be the correct condition displays for a second or so. And then a bogus condition displays. For example, when I click the browser refresh button, the clouds and rain icon appears and the text reads "It is overcast - light rain; mist". This seems correct. However, after a few seconds, the moon and clouds icon displays and the text says, "It is Dry, Night time". And then, it gets really bizarre. The moon and clouds icon changes to a clouds and rain icon and then back again, but the text still says, "It is Dry, Night time". Any idea why this is happening? My apologies for not including my website link: http://www.bellevuewaweather.com/wxindex.php . I'm adding it to my signature. Thanks, Dan.

Scott, I figured out why the UV icons weren't correct. I needed to download the http://www.bashewa.com/download/bws-icons-uv.zip (UV Icons). But that's no longer a valid link. So I copied the standard "uvxx.gif" files to "UVx.gif". I don't know if the icons are correct, but at least they display correctly. Regards, Dan.

I figured out that the message "Dry, Night time" is coming from my ClientRaw.txt file. But I can't figure where this is coming from and where it's getting the data. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan.

Dan, Glad to see you getting site worked out. It will take time to get it, where you want it. I realize this is the Alt Dash thread but I though I would point out you should check your map setting , for zoom out on radar. City level appears to be correct, not sure about others.

Ed,
Thanks for the feedback. I've noticed that the Radar image looks a bit odd sometimes, but I wasn't sure what it should look like. There are a few other issues that need to be addressed first and then I'll dive into this. It's probably a settings issue someplace, but I'm not sure where.
Regards,
Dan.

It appears that you have the Metar readings over-riding your stations readings. I just looked at the testtags.php and your station says it is Clear and Dry but your Metar says "Clear" Your site just says "Clear". However it is night so you may just be using the Metar at night. (it's in the Weather Display Setup) You may want to verify that. I will try to check it while it is still daylight if you still can't find the answer (Or someone else doesn't chime in with a solution, I'm getting to this rather late in the day) Scott At this point, all of the issues I mentioned above are resolved except for the Current Conditions top icon/text.
