I LOVE WX!

I think there should be an app for reporting precip results. I often find my self checking my rain gauge before I head into work and forgeting to write it down or remember the numbers so I can enter it when I get home. If there was an app I can just pull out my iphone and enter it there since I always cary it with me. I even put a note pad and pen in a zip lock bag and attached it to my rain gauge post to help keep track of my data if I forget or don't have time to enter it in. So much for that.  Rolling Eyes

Doug,

It's my understanding that one is in the works as that has been suggested by others. Not sure on a completion date however.

I just bookmark the CoCoRaHS page and enter my info from my iPhone. Works fine for me in the sideways view.

I have also used a windows based phone and now a IPhone to report when I have internet trouble, a program written for this would be welcome.

I also think that would be a great idea.  Right now my wife is having to do all the work for me when I am out of town and she definately does not like entering data at 7:00 AM.  Texting me the totals would save her alot of grief.

Has anyone heard anything more about an app or a completion date?

The hard part (and time consuming part) is going out to read the gauge! Entering the data takes a second!
