I really don't know which forum to put this in, but I hope it gets wide viewing.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Tom Ehrensperger and his latest version of WXSIM and a equally big THANK YOU to Henkka of http://www.nordicweather.net/  for his 3in1 script that gives a wonderful presentation of WXSIM's forecasts. The special thanks is to Henkka for devoting many hours of his time to make his native European script easy to use for those of us in the US using imperial measurements. Past versions have been path challenging and required the programming knowledge to set many paths or the luck to find someone with that knowledge who would take pity on you and guide you through (as I did!).

The latest version is truly, plug and play!

I hope that anyone with WXSIM and a website, and using imperial measurements, will give this script a try.

FWIW, my forecast can be seen at http://smlweather.com/3in1WX.php .

George,

I agree. This is a great script. I've recently installed it, but it hasn't quite been plug and play for me. I've got everything working except that my graphlog.txt file is broken. From looking at it, it appears the time/date gets reset back to the value of the first time/date entry after each midnight entry. I believe all the actual data is correct, except for the time/date column. As a result of the multiple occurrences of time & dates, the forecast graph displays incorrectly as well as the Hour-by-hour and 48 hr detailed charts.

You didn't happen to have any similar issues when you installed, did you? You can see my charts as well as my graphlog.txt and lastret.txt files here.

Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

Steve,

I won't be able to look at this until this evening and then I probably won't be much help but I'll try. I see you're on http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/index.php/topic,53044.240.html, they should help.

Later,

George

Edit: Steve, look REAL HARD at your WRET and compare carefully to the pattern (wret.png in the download)

Hey George,

Thanks for the reply.

I've checked and re-checked and re-checked again WRET.PNG and mine matches. I posted my question on weather-watch a couple of days ago, but, so far, haven't gotten a response. That's why I came looking here in wxforum.net and saw your success.

I was wondering if you would mind emailing me your files. I'll PM you with my email address.

Thanks,

Steve

George,

First off, thanks for sending the file. Secondly, I got the problem resolved.

Last night it occurred to me that maybe the issue was date related since it appeared my lastret.txt was correct, but the graphlog.txt data dates were repeating. Looking at lastret.txt files from sites that were 'working', I noticed the date format at the top was always DD MM YYYY. In my lastret.txt file, the format was MM DD YYYY. Knowing this format was set in WXSIM, I went into WXSIM and changed the date format from Mo/Da/Yr to Da/Mo/Yr. I recycled WXSIM, did a forecast run and the date format in my lastret.txt now matched yours and other working ones. So, I cranked up the 3in1 forecast and, voila, it worked correctly this time.

What has me puzzled is that I assumed that if the $timeformat variable in wxall.settings.php matched the date format in WXSIM, all would be fine. Obviously not. It looks like 3in1 expects the format to be Mo/Da/Yr. Oh, well. At least it's working now.

Thanks again for your help.
